Fans of Falling In Reverse are in for something special. The band is on the road doing the An Evening With Falling In Reverse – Unplugged & Uncensored Tour. A true fan experience, this tour includes a chance to meet and talk to the band, special souvenirs and more for EVERYONE in attendance.
The bands first album The Drug in Me Is You was released in 2011 and they skyrocketed to 19 on the Billboard 200, selling 18,000 copies in the first week. The newest album Fashionably Late was released in June of this year and debuted in the top 20. HEAR got a chance to talk to Falling In Reverse singer Ronnie Radke about returning to Michigan. Ronnie is stoked after having to drop of a tour earlier this year so he wouldn’t miss the birth of his daughter. Having a checkered past, Ronnie talked about how his outlook on life has changed with his new found fatherhood. “It’s not just about you anymore, it’s about someone else more important.”
If some of you didn’t know Ronnie Radke is the ex-singer from the band Escape The Fate. Ronnie was removed from the band after being charged with battery in 2006 and doing some jail time in 2008 for related probation violations. He has struggled with a serious drug addiction over the years but told HEAR he still wouldn’t want to change his past even if he could. “”No, I wouldn’t because if I did then that would change my future and I’m happy where I am at.”
Falling In Reverse and Escape The Fate have had their differences in the past but Ronnie and the others will be putting all that aside early next year and hitting the road together once more. The Bury The Hatchet Tour with Falling In Reverse, Escape The Fate and Chelsea Grin comes through Michigan hitting Royal Oak Music Theater on February 4th and the House of Blues in Chicago on Feb 5th.
There is a dramatic style change from The Drug In Me Is You and Fashionably Late. Ronnie told us, “I like to switch things up and never do the same thing too much.” He is currently working on a mix tape with Danny Worsnop from Asking Alexandria, Andy Cushman from Of Mice & Men, Craig Mabbit of Escape The Fate and Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach. He also mentioned to us how the plan is to release the mix tape free to the fans .
Falling In Reverse is really looking forward to their Detroit show this Saturday, Nov 9th at The Shelter in St. Andrews Hall, and we at HEAR are just as excited for them to get here! You can also catch them on the 10th at The Bottom Lounge in Chicago. For more info and other dates go to www.fallinginreverse.com or find them on Facebook.
