The first annual Las Rageous wrapped up this past weekend and it was what they promised, outRAGEOUS!

The two day festival was held over Friday April 21 and Saturday April 22 at the DT Vegas Events Center essentially shutting down downtown Las Vegas.  Las Rageous was host to many huge names in the Metal/Rock world including, The Devil Wears Prada, Killswitch Engage, Coheed & Cambria, Escape the Fate, All That Remains, Eagles of Death Metal, Breaking Benjamin and Avenged Sevenfold.

The festival also had many food trucks for the concert goers to choose from. Also, present were local freak show acts which included fire-throwing, saws and sparks and very eye appealing costumes.  Speaking to fans during the show it was learned that many of them had travelled from outside of Las Vegas, even from out of state to attend the festival.

While on stage Las Vegas property owner, Derek Stevens, alluded to more than just a one time thing when it came to the Las Rageous festival.  While speaking to festival co-producers, he announced that we should be referring to this years Las Rageous festival as the first annual Las Rageous.  We will see what comes next spring!!  For news on next year’s Las Rageous stay tuned to HEAR Magazine or follow the Las Rageous Facebook Page HERE.
