Coheed & Cambria with single opening act The Dear Hunter filled The Royal Oak Music Theater with an excited crowd. The Dear Hunter was a band that clearly had a cult following as the audience passionately sang along to every word.

With only one opening act, Coheed & Cambria was up next. Out walked Claudio by himself after peering around the corner with just an acoustic guitar in hand. Setting the tone for the whole show that he was in charge.

After finishing up his solo performance with the acoustic, the rest of the band joined him on stage, as did his epic double necked Gibson for Welcome Home. Now was Claudio’s time to really shine, with another epic performance with the entire audience singing along.

The entire show was centered around their third album, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness. If you have an opportunity to see one of their remaining shows on their 2017 tour be sure to take the opportunity!
