RaH and FLASHCLASH Perform at the Legendary Russell Industrial Center
By Kevin Tshiamala
It is a rarity in present day to find exquisite music that has successfully walked the line of being entertaining while maintaining a psychological depth. This duality is what we have come to find to be a commonality in the music of RaH. When we first met, RaH was a hopeful great talent with a positive future ahead of her. About a full year later, she’s a rising star in a great band with an EP Release on the horizon while playing festivals such as SXSW. This is a testament not only to her dedication, but also the relatable and enjoyable duality in her music.
When it comes to a topic that most of us fail to remember still persists, domestic violence/abuse, Rebecca Ann Henry talks the talk and walks the walk. She started a not-for-profit organization titled, Revolve, to battle domestic abuse by bringing music therapy to young abuse victims, teens with disabilities and youths with PTSD symptoms.
Coming home, RaH will perform alongside FlASHCLASH on June 6th at the legendary Russell Industrial center. Proceeds from the merchandise will go to the not-for-profit Revolve. Also on June 6th will be the exclusive “Snake Skin” single and music video premier preview, which will be followed by the EP release performance July 16th in Denver, CO. Both releases will be launched at her official website. We’re very excited to for this show and can’t wait dance with all of you.
Doors at 8:30 pm. $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
