Young the Giant (YTG) – This alternative rock band is the force behind hits like “My Body” and “Apartment,” and they have achieved significant success in the mainstream rock scene in recent years. Young the Giant formed well over a decade ago in Southern California, and they have been an active force in alternative rock ever since. Now, Young the Giant is preparing for their next round of shows, and rock fans all over North America are looking forward to the chance to see Young the Giant in action.

Young the Giant has dozens of shows scheduled all over the US and Canada this year, which means that they just might be heading your way soon, including Detroit on Sept 23. Young the Giant will be performing everywhere from Montreal and Toronto to Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and these shows are bound to be some of the most in-demand alt-rock concerts of the season.

Young the Giant’s roots can be traced back to 2004, when a group of musicians formed a band called the Jakes in Irvine, California. Fast forward several years, and The Jakes had evolved into Young the Giant, an indie rock band now composed of Jacob Tilley, Eric Cannata, Sameer Gadhia, Payam Doostzadeh and Francois Comtois. In 2009, Young the Giant began to gain serious traction in the indie rock scene, as they performed multiple sets at South by Southwest and even got their music on television shows like “The Real World” and “The Beast.” In 2010, Young the Giant released their eponymous debut album, which became one of the most critically acclaimed rock releases of the year. This self-titled debut spawned hits like “My Body” and “I Got,” which helped solidify Young the Giant’s position as an exciting new force in alternative rock.

To date, Young the Giant has released three studio albums: “Young the Giant” (2010), “Mind over Matter” (2014) and “Home of the Strange” (2016). This popular alt-rock band has performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the world, including SXSW, The Great Escape Festival and Sasquatch. They have also performed on talk shows like Later with Jools Holland and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Since releasing their debut album in 2010, Young the Giant has received endless critical acclaim. The New York Times, CNN Newsroom and NBC’s Today have all praised Young the Giant for their cool, energetic alt-rock sound and catchy tunes. Now, this high-charting rock band is preparing for yet another round of exciting shows, and if you love great alternative rock you definitely won’t want to miss out. Young the Giant continues to draw large crowds to their live shows no matter where or when they perform, and now your chance to see this red-hot rock band in action may be weeks or even days away. Make sure that you are in the audience at a Young the Giant show so that you can hear hits like “My Body,” “Cough Syrup” and “Apartment” performed live.

Young the Giant’s breakout single, “My Body,” went gold in the US and platinum in Canada.
